Childhood inspirations
Revel in the ordinary for it is extraordinary. This is exactly how children react to their world. My children’s gentle hands have always fascinated me. The treasures they held so carefully, gazing at seemingly ordinary stones as if they were sparkling jewels. I feel the parallels of my own childhood – the glory of discovery in those extraordinary moments. Follow my latest painting series as I explore these magical happenings.

The painting, Meet My Friend, celebrates a child's joy of ladybugs (called ladybirds to some). These marvelous little red creatures make our little people's faces light up and in turn cause us to smile as we share their delight.
